For transport; simply slide the bar of your chainsaw into the heavy-duty machined HDPE sleeve and secure your chainsaw with a few turns of the threaded knobs. HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) is a tough industrial polymer that is corrosion-proof; immune to bar oil and sap; and won't dull your chain. Two-piece bar sleeve comes assembled with 1/4"-20 galvanized fasteners and is easily disassembled for cleaning.
